Beaver Full Moon Ritual

Dec 01, 2023

The Moon, the enchanting Goddess of the Night, holds a special place in our hearts. As we embrace the Full Moon in Gemini, we are reminded of the Twins and the power of our intuition and telepathic abilities. Like the agile messenger, Mercury, we can traverse between realms, effortlessly moving between the underworld, the upper world, and the spaces in-between.

Within ourselves lies a sacred channel, where we honor our heart's beliefs, wishes, and dreams. Gemini, like a skilled wordsmith, processes our experiences and shapes our attitudes towards them. During the Full Moon in Gemini, we find ourselves intellectualizing our emotions, blending the energies of the Solar Plexus, Sacral, and Soul's Harmonic - the 3rd, 2nd, and 9th Energy Centers.

The ninth energy center, associated with Sagittarius, Jupiter, and the Ninth House, radiates a golden light. It is here that we find sigils, symbols, numbers, signs, and even our personal "Book of Life." This sacred book grants us the power to rewrite our life story, seeing things through the "Eye of the Creator" - whatever that may mean to each of us.

This is your vital invitation to do just that! Use words to re-write a New Chapter, Be your Own Scribe, Write your Personal Script.

Items Needed:

  • A Candle/Incense (or both)
  • a pen and paper
  • Sounds that Sooth your Mind
  • A place to Solicit your Inner Solitude (Sacred Space)
  • A warm cup of Tea (Comforting Tea)

As you settle into your cozy space with a cup of tea, you may feel inclined to begin your Moon Meditation beforehand. Make sure to have your journal, pen, and paper within reach. Personally, I prefer a pen that allows my hand to glide effortlessly across the pages.

As you let your hand flow across the paper, you might even feel inspired to draw. I often engage in automatic writing, where I create sacred geometry such as circles or other shapes. Open your heart like a lotus petal, a rose, or a flower, and contemplate what your innermost desires truly are - those heartfelt ASK-firmations. What questions does your heart long to have answered? What thoughts are swirling in your mind?

This Full Moon holds a mystical energy, existing in otherworldly dimensions, frequencies, and vibrations. One key to accessing this energy is to phrase your questions or inquiries with intention, infusing them with a feeling of already having what you seek. Write them down as if they are already here - because they are. Hold the intention and visualize for at least 60 seconds, all while being in an environment that exudes high-quality vibes, such as your sacred space.

Feel free to write your queries on the paper. If you are revisiting your New Moon intentions, you may want to rewrite them as well. I've found that setting a maximum of 10 intentions works best, as having too many tends to dissipate the energy. Allow the words to flow without attachment, releasing and letting go with a sense of non-attachment.

Since this Full Moon holds a quantum energy at the 4th degree, it is also a time for the miraculous and the radical. Allow your subconscious to guide you into the quantum field, a place beyond this world if you are able to do so. As you journal and draw, you may find that things that make no sense in the present moment will bring new insights when you reflect on them later.

As Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, takes the lead ahead of the Moon, it is actually connected to Venus. We have multiple shades or aspects at play here, including the influence of the 4 degrees. It's a time to create a sacred space and trust in our innovative words.

Take a moment to feel into your inner longing as you navigate the waves of thought surfing. Consider something that your heart can truly believe in and let your creativity flow.

What does your heart believe and feel? This is a time to initiate a new way of being, to delve into a new behavior or habit. It's an opportunity to embrace a new attitude, perhaps even a sense of adventure. Something that has been simmering, like a word simmer pot, is ready to be utilized with this energy over the next few weeks.

Remember, it's not about sitting on our feelings, but expressing them. Full moons are the culmination of new moons, and this full moon, being in an air sign, illuminates themes of communication, information, and sharing ideas. It sheds light on our deep, deeper feelings surrounding our inner thought patterns.

Our inner voice and authentic communication, even our connection to ourselves, feel like a sacred prayer for self-care. The presence of the two voices reminds me of the Native American story of the two wolves, representing the competing voices in our minds. One encourages us to believe in what we long for and desire, while the other may be the self-saboteur, the critical energy that tells us why we will fail.

This full moon invites us to engage in quantum thinking, to tap into that higher octave. It's a time to connect with our higher self, our soul, and take a higher perspective. Embrace the script of non-attachment, finding the lessons in adversity and challenges.

Listen to my moon meditation and open up your heart, eyes, and ears to your soul's desires and spirit's desires. Embrace the power of your inner voice, the power of perspective, and learn to love that inner dialogue.

It sounds like you've been on quite an emotional journey since the last day of Scorpio. Now is the time to reflect on how far you have come and bear witness to your growth. Approach this reflection with compassion and forgiveness, as love is the key.

Take a moment to reflect back to last year and acknowledge what you have accomplished. Gain clarity on what your heart wishes to release before entering the container of 2024.

Incorporating the elements into your practice can be powerful. Consider charging crystals and collecting snow as offerings to the water and mineral spirits. Additionally, fire is an important element, representing our ancestors and spirit. Use a red candle with sigils for healing and health, as wealth is connected to our well-being.

Crystals hold wisdom and memories, so utilize their energy to cleanse your words and gain insights from their origins. Water, especially from rivers or lakes blessed by the moon, can be used for healing. Connect with the water spirits and communicate with them. If possible, gather water from a river or lake, or even talk to the snow.

In terms of journaling prompts for this moon, here are a few suggestions:

1. Reflect on what is currently on the tip of your tongue or in your mind. List out these things and identify which ones you have influence over. Imagine how these situations would look and how you would feel if you were able to thank and release the lessons they hold.

2. Explore different ways to release without attachment or causing pain to yourself or others. You may feel the urge to scream into a pillow, yell at the universe, or have a kicking and screaming match on the floor. Consider these outlets to release pent-up emotions.

3. Look back at 2022 and make a list of five things you are grateful for, five things you are proud of yourself for, five things that may be bothering or disappointing you, and five things your heart wants to let go of. This moon is about releasing communication and old energies that no longer serve you.

Remember to approach these practices with love, compassion, and non-attachment. Allow this full moon to be a time of release and renewal as you step into the next phase of your journey.

As a Reflector, it's important to focus on the element of loving surprise, joy, and laughter rather than disappointment. I completely understand and resonate with your preference for positive and uplifting energies.

Before engaging in this ritual, take some time to reflect on the past year. Get clear on any energies, patterns, habits, or situations that you no longer want to carry with you into the upcoming new year. This reflection will help you set your intentions for releasing these energies.

For this ritual, you will need an item from nature that you have found outdoors, such as a leaf, twig, moss, fairy house, feather, or stone. You will also need incense or a candle, or both (preferably a red candle), a lighter or matches to create fire, a safe and sacred space to burn the incense and light the candle, a journal, and a writing or drawing tool.

To begin, light the incense and the candle, stating your intentions out loud. You can say a prayer or invocation that resonates with you, calling upon the Creator, Mother Earth, Gaia, Higher Self, Guides, Gatekeepers, Guardians, angels, ancestors, and helping spirits to assist you in releasing the heavy and dense energies from the past. Express your gratitude and blessings and affirm your faith in co-creating in authentic, supportive, happy, loving ways for the highest and greatest good of all.

After journaling and getting clear on the patterns, habits, and feelings you wish to release, take hold of the nature item in your right hand and cover it with your left hand. Allow yourself to feel the discomfort and heaviness of holding onto these energetic weights. Then, intentionally move all of that heavy energy into your hands and transfer it into the nature item, whether it's a stone or any other item you have chosen.

Throughout this process, pay attention to your breath, as it is the air of life. Breathe deeply and focus on the sensations in your hands, which are unique energy centers. Allow the energy to flow and release as you exhale.

Once you feel that the heavy energy has been transferred into the nature item, express your gratitude and release it into the earth. You can bury the item in the ground or place it in a special spot in nature, returning it to the earth's energy.

Take a moment to sit in stillness, feeling the lightness and freedom that comes with releasing these energies. Close the ritual with a final prayer or affirmation of gratitude.

Remember, this ritual is meant to support you in releasing and letting go of what no longer serves you. Embrace the loving surprise, joy, and laughter as you step into the new year with a renewed sense of authenticity and positivity.

Feeling the heaviness of the energies you are ready to release, take the chosen item into your right hand and move it through the incense smoke or a few inches above the lit candle. Please ensure you practice fire safety during this process.

In a slow, counter-clockwise circle, repeat the following release statements 12 times, stating each one with every circle:

1. "I release the energies that are emotionally blocking me and reclaim my security and stability."

2. "I release any energies emotionally blocking me, reclaiming my creativity and joy."

3. "I release any energies mentally blocking me, reclaiming my focus, confidence, and power."

4. "I release any energies blocking me from connecting with others, reclaiming my compassion and love, both physical and spiritual."

5. "I release any energies blocking my authentic self, reclaiming authenticity in expression and my spiritual truths, finding my voice."

6. "I release any energies that are blocking me from trusting my inner guidance system, reclaiming my intuition."

7. "I release any energies blocking me from spiritual connection, reclaiming my direct channel and circuitry to the divine."

8. "I release any energy blocking my imagination, reclaiming my connection to the otherworld, the Shaman's portal, all dimensions, and everything in between."

9. "I release any energy blocking me from seeing things through the eye of God, reclaiming my ability to write my own script and see myself the way the Creator does."

10. "I release any energy blocking me from connecting to the earth, to the spirits of nature, and any elementals. I reclaim my ability to connect and protect those beings, knowing I am grounded in the elemental that serves me best."

11. "I release any energies blocking me from commanding forces and reclaim my ability to move energy from matter or matter to energy."

12. The twelfth circle is unique and individual to you. Allow yourself to be the voice of your authentic self, using your gift and purpose.

Once you have completed all the circles, place the item down and put on a slow song, such as shamanic drumming or binaural beats for the solar plexus or sacral chakra. Stretch, shake your body, and sway or dance to the music. Allow yourself to move freely and do what feels good to you.

This process of releasing and moving your body helps to integrate the energy shifts and further release any remaining tension or heaviness. Embrace the freedom and lightness that comes from letting go and connecting with your authentic self.

Remember, this ritual is a personal and individual experience, so feel free to adapt and customize it to suit your preferences and needs. Enjoy the process and embrace the positive energies that come with releasing and reclaiming your power.

Thank you for sharing such beautiful insights and suggestions for the ritual. It's wonderful to emphasize the importance of releasing stored energy in the body through movement and expressing gratitude to the nature spirits, Mother Nature, and our spirit team.

Expressing gratitude to oneself is a powerful practice, as it acknowledges our own growth and contributions to our healing journey. And yes, Snoop Dogg's sentiment of thanking oneself first is a great reminder of self-love and self-appreciation.

After completing the ritual, it's important to honor the nature item that absorbed the released energies. Burning, composting, or intuitively returning or discarding the item with gratitude and blessings are all wonderful options.

The moon's energy can indeed have a strong influence on our emotions, and using this time to connect with self-love, compassion, and curiosity is a beautiful way to navigate the emotional waves.

Boosting the love quotient for ourselves and allowing it to flow out into the world is a powerful intention. As we continue to learn and grow in this Earth school, embracing love, compassion, and acceptance of our inner voice will guide us on our path.

Thank you for sharing your insights and blessings of infinite divine love. I hope that these suggestions and reflections have been insightful and helpful. May you continue to embrace self-love and spread love and blessings to those around you. Ashe!
