Heart-Shaped Foods and Why You Should Eat Them
Jul 22, 2025
No. We’re not advocating eating heart-shaped waffles, but we are advocating eating berries, especially strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries! The first three actually somewhat resemble a heart if you stop and think about it.
When a fruit or vegetable resembles a part of the human anatomy, you’ll most often find that food is particularly beneficial for that body part’s health! Strawberries, in particular, are somewhat heart-shaped. So are raspberries and blackberries. The color is another indicator. The heart is red. Berries are red, deep red, or deep reddish blue/purple.
Red bell peppers and tomatoes tend to resemble the heart and certainly are the right color! Red fruits indicate the presence of high levels of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant and heart disease fighter.
Summertime is joyful heart time! Keep your heart pumping ecstatically and eat those berries!
